This is a biography of the Civil War by my Great, Great, Grandfather on my father’s, mother's side (Virgie Patterson) that I restored back in late 1999 to early 2000, the original was almost unreadable in its natural condition. Just a warning to any that may be offended, he was from Texas and that was one of the Southern States, but this is just a good look into a firsthand account of that time period. There is an epilog at the end to wrap up his story, and his thoughts on things he felt were worth our knowing, plus a portion of his scrapbook on Abraham Lincoln’s assassination, and more.
